- Some may think that is a problem they would not mind having, but for
a woman from New Jersey, who has up to 100 orgasms a day, this is
a medical problem that she would love to heal.
Kim Ramsey, 44, suffers from persistent genital aroUsal disorder or PGAD, meaning the slightest movement of the pelvis, on a train, in a car or doing chores, constantly makes her feel excited. She says the large number of orgasms leaves her tired, sore and cannot have a normal relationship.
She told the news media that, "Other women wonder how to have an orgasm, I wonder how to stop it."
The news media reported that doctors believe the incurable syndrome was caused by falling down stairs as she developed a Tarlov cyst on her spine, the point where a woman’s orgasm originates.
Ramsey says she noticed the problem after having s3x with a new boyfriend, telling the news media, "I've had constant orgasms for four days. I thought I was going crazy. We tried everything to make it stop. Squats, deep breathing, even sat in frozen peas, but orgasms and sexual arousal continued for 36 hours, which must have been about 200 orgasms during that period. The pain and fatigue was unbearable.”
The news media reported that despite seeing several specialists about the condition, doctors have not been able to help her from PGAD because the condition is so rare. She plans to travel to London to see an expert at it, but adds that at this time it is difficult to go about her daily life because she always is worried that she will not be able to control her excitement.
She tells the news media, "Right now I am able to work. But without proper treatment this condition can limit my ability to work. I do not want that. It already destroyed my chance to have a relationship."
