Hmmmm, seems like some of the Chanel 'Lego' bags spotted recently with some of our Naija celebs may be replicas since the
original ones sold out over three months ago. I checked online and yeah, the replica goes for $295. Oh and that's actress Sikiratu Sindodo showing off her version of the clutch bag.

Two Kenyan men have signed an agreement to “marry” the same woman.
The woman had been having affairs with both men for more than four years and apparently refused to choose between them.
The
agreement sets out a rota for Sylvester Mwendwa and Elijah Kimani to
stay in her house and states they will both help raise any children she
bears.
Mr Mwendwa
told the BBC he loved the woman and said the contract would “set
boundaries” and “keep the peace.Lawyers said the “marriage” would only
be recognised if they could prove polyandry – a woman having more than
one husband – was part of their custom.
The BBC’s David Okwembah in the capital, Nairobi, says polyandry is not practised by any community in Kenya.

United
States has expressed worry over the lingering feud between the Federal
Government and the striking public universities’ lecturers over their
demand for better working conditions.
Speaking in Abuja yesterday, the US
Embassy Cultural Affairs Officer, Bill Strassberger, urged the
government to resolve the crisis with the Academic Staff Union of
Universities.
“We are
not involved in that negotiation but we can encourage. It is a fear, it
is a worry for us because that would make it hard for the students to
come.” Strassberger said.
Advising
Nigerians to shun those who parade themselves as agents, Strassberger
said accurate information regarding studying in the US could be obtained
from the embassy.
Earlier,
the Head, Education USA, Jennifer Onyukwu, said the ASUU’s strike would
affect intending students from Nigeria who wish to study in the US
because of the need to obtain their transcript, revealing that
statistically, Nigeria was US’s largest sender of students from
sub-saharan Africa.
Nigeria currently has about 7,028 students studying at over 700 institutions in the USA.

So there is this Galaxy program that the TV presenter dissed Davido's GOBE ther weekly entertainment program airs Mondays to Fridays on Galaxy Television, 10am – 11am and it's usually anchored by two ladies, Alero and Pat. The guest for today's show was Mike okri – the popular singer, whose hit songs, 'Omoge' and 'Rhumba Dance' dominated the Nigerian music scene in the 1980 - and it was quite fun. Mike revealed that he is working on the remix of omoge – which would feature omawumi- and he also stated that he will be working with some of the new artistes in the indutry today. So here's the gist:
Following Mike Okri's statement on "remixing his omoge hit song" one of the presenters stated that "wow, atleast you have something to remix…unlike the songs we have today, that Davido or is it Wizkid's Gobe for instance, all you hear is girl your behind is a killer, see Gobe, Gobe…Gobe, What is behind?! like what the hell." "In years to come, who would think of remixing such songs. What will my children benefit from such songs, the artistes of tomorrow would not be able to remix such songs…I mean how? Check out Olaiyas remis of baby jowo ft 2face, it's so beautiful…I wonder if we can have such remix for davido's er-rr Gobe tomorrow, lol…they should sing songs that will still be relevant in years to come…." Whats your take on this statement?

Publicity stunt or is he for real? 37 year old record producer, rapper, DJ and
record label executive, Khaled bin Abdul Khaled, better known by his stage name DJ Khaled, asked Nicki Minaj to marry him via a video posted online and he explained why he wants Nicki as his wife...
"I want to be honest with you. I love you. I like you. I want you to
be mine. The only reason I'm not telling you this face to
face is because I know that you're busy. You need a man like me in your life that’s gonna take care of you and
respect you. You gotta take your time and think about it, I
understand... but I know I have to be here today to let you know how
serious I am and about how serious this is to me. I want to let your
fans know, my fans know, my family, your family, that I wanna marry you.
I been working hard to get this ring... Nicki Minaj... will you marry
me?'
DJ Khaled popped the question with a
$500,000 diamond ring and with help from MTV. Nicki hasn't responded
yet. The two recently worked together on Nicki's latest single 'Twerk
It'. See his proposal video after the cut...he sounds damn serious...
Comedian Basketmouth will share short stories about his experience with
people while growing in the Nigerian entertainment industry in a series
called 'Before I Write a Book.' He plans to write a book eventually so
this is a pre-entry to that project, thus, the title. Below is the first
story he shares
Back stage at the
Rothmans Groove tour which held @ TBS in 1998, there I was seated with
the likes of The Plantashun Boiz,Dr. Fresh,Remedies and more...I was
just a young boy trying to weigh his options on what direction to go
with his career as drumming, rapping, producing and comedy were few of my
options.
That
night was the 1st time I met Tony Tetuila, one of those humble guys you
come by,he was warm and accommodating considering the obvious fact that
I was nobody in the industry.
Jim Iyke tweeted support at his girlfriend, Ghanaian actress Nadia
Buari, as she made her directorial debut, and Nadia replied with a
loving Tweet of her own...
English translation: "My soldier, my best friend, my biggest support
@JimIyke, thank you for your support. I love you. #wearetogether."
Awwww, how sweet!
When asked by a fan on Twitter if he's single or married, R&B superstar Banky W replied single. Well, technically he's single because he's not married...but he's currently in a relationship with Ghanaian beauty, Andrea Manuela Giaccaglia, who he has been out in public with on a few occasions, which kinda tells me this could be serious because Mr W has dated quite a number of beautiful women he never went out with in public.
So what should a man in a relationship say to a question like this: "Not married but in a relationship?" Or "I'm single" is just fine?
Have been wondering how on earth could this be possible... Luxury designer Alexander Amosu has cleared the confusion. He took to his instagram page to explain that there's a Swarovski diamond edition of his Taste of Diamond champagne. The diamond encrusted bottle is worth £1.2m, while the Swarovski version is just £350.
This is probably the version Don Jazzy and Peter Okoye got. Yehpa... :-) He reacted to the Daily Mail article about the price of the champagne. See his reaction above.
"Wow!!! Seems the media has taking my instagram & changed it to their own. Swarovski diamond edition as stated in my instagram is £350 not £1.2m" Amosu wrote.
The lineup for Crack Ya Ribs in London keeps getting interesting.
Nigerian comedian Julius Agwu has announced that music star KCee will join other top rated entertainers already confirmed for this year’s Crack Ya Ribs show in London and Manchester.
The London show will take place at the
Indigo o2 on Friday 23rd August 2013 while the Manchester show will take
place at the Methodist Hall on Sunday 25th August 2013.
Speaking on the latest addition, Julius
said the move was fueled by his decision to satisfy London fans already
yearning for KCee’s Limpopo song. The deal was signed last week in Lagos
between KCee and Reel Laif Entertainment, the organizer of the show.
Entertainers already confirmed for the show are Bovi, Senator, Funny Bone, Eddie Kadi, Dan D Humorous and Akpororo . These top comic acts will definitely thrill all with their rib cracking jokes.
Speaking earlier concerning the event, Julius said “As
I turned 40 this year, things ought to be done differently. As such, I
decided to move Crack Ya Ribs to Indigo 02 re-branded, repackaged,
reinvented, re-energized and renewed to bring back that flavor that made
it a first class comedy show in the UK for the past seven years. We
want to bring back that glory and only God can do that with His renewed
grace in my life.”
